We assume that you have already logged in to the My Garage or your Admin Panel, if you're running the GSS on your website or hosting account.

How to Search Customers

There are two places where you can run a customer search:

1. Customer List
2. Customer Summary

1. Customer List

1.1. Select Customers from the top navigation bar, and choose Customer List from the drop-down list.

This displays all your customers in a single place and is categorised by status. You can navigate to each status by pressing its tab.

1.2. On the 'Customer List' page, use the search box to find the customer. You can use any of the following details:

  • Customer ID (CID)
  • Customer's Reference Number
  • Customer's Name
  • Customer's Company
  • Customer's Phone Number

By start typing any above information in the search box, the system predicts the rest of your query and presents you with the best results. Then, you can easily find and accept a suggestion from the list.

1.3. If you want to go back to the list view, press the orange Reset button.

Available management features are listed below:
  • Customer Summary - this provides a single place to quickly locate and manage any customer account. All customer's data and services are available here.
  • Edit Customer Profile - from here you can update the customer profile.
  • Add New Vehicle - allows you to add a new vehicle and assign it to the customer.
  • Add New Booking - by using this link, you can add a booking for the customer.
  • Create Invoice - from here you can create an invoice for the customer.
  • Create Quote - allows you to create a quotation for the customer.
  • Send Message - allows you to send message to your customers.
  • Update Customer Status - allows you to update customer/s status (individually or by group) by navigating to each status tab.

2. Customer Summary

2.1. Select Customers from the top navigation bar, and choose Customer Summary from the drop-down list.

From here you can manage and monitor each individual customer account.

2.2. On the 'Customer Summary' page, use the search box to find the customer. You can use any of the following details:

  • Customer ID (CID)
  • Customer's Name
  • Customer's Business Name
Please Note:
The Customer Summary provides a single place to quickly locate and manage all the customer 's data and services.
It contains an overview of the customer 's details, some quick billing and service statistics, quick links to all management actions as well as a list of all their vehicles, bookings, invoices, quotes and credits.
